Student Project: How Haman Hanged Himself

Last week, I had the privilege of teaching the book of Esther. Because Esther lends itself so well to the medium of story-telling, our students are given a different assignment for the book: they’re tasked with creating a video that tells the story of Esther, Xerxes, Mordecai, and Haman. Usually this entails acting and even some singing and dancing as students have created musical dramas of the book in the past, but this year, our students undertook a different genre all together. One of our students is a legitimate film maker (he and his brothers have attended film school and their films have won awards at film festivals), but all five of our SBSers put their hearts and an incredible amount of hard work, into the creation of this fabulous short film. I hope you enjoy it!
